Good Pharmacovigilance Practice Committee

Louise Handy, Good Pharmacovigilance Practice Committee Chairman

Kim Palmer, Good Pharmacovigilance Practice Committee Secretary

PV Committee Vacancy

The RQA Good Pharmacovigilance Practice Committee is recruiting a new committee member. We are specifically looking for someone to help with regulatory intelligence. Ideally the successful candidate will be performing this type of role in their day job and so will be able to provide the committee, and RQA in turn, with regulatory updates for pharmacovigilance related areas covering a global remit. Examples of the information we are looking to collect and collate include changes to legislation, inspection intelligence, presentations at conferences and so on.
It is really important that we maintain up to date and accurate information, and particularly in the fast changing PV arena, so this will be a key role on the committee.
The information will be used to inform publications and communications via the RQA website, Quasar, social media and regional forums.
Please contact Louise Handy, the Committee Chair, on louise@handyconsulting.co.uk or on pharmacovigilance@therqa.com, providing details of your experience and how you anticipate fulfilling this role for us.

This area is looked after by the Good Pharmacovigilance Practice Committee. The Committee was formed to provide a forum for discussion and clarification of identified regulations and issues specific to Pharmacovigilance which may arise (from RQA members, existing or proposed legislation or guidelines), and to assist the Association to play an active role in any consultative process related to GPvP matters.
