Finance, Office and Event Admin Manager

I have worked for the Association since 2003 when I started as financial administrator to cover maternity leave.  I had just been made redundant as an electrical contract auditor, prior to which most of my career was in IT recruitment, and thought why not try something different for a few months… little did I know!!!  I am the employee with the longest service to the association.  The Association has evolved an incredible amount in those 20 years and the pace of development just seems to get faster and faster, keeping us all on our toes (and me wishing for early retirement!!).  I feel honoured to work in such a wonderful team and have the varied role I do, split between the office and working remotely, and be the historic reference and memory within the office.  In my role I manage event admin, finances and office management, which includes health & safety, IT, personnel, wellbeing and communications, plus getting involved in any other projects that I can.
 
Outside of work I seem to spend most of my time renovating our badly built home, but spend as much time as I can gardening, walking, camping, travelling and spending quality time with friends and family.
