The 2025 RQA International Conference invites professionals across the quality assurance, regulatory, and research communities to submit abstracts to speak at our industry’s flagship event. Our programme is built to reflect a broad range of experience, sectors, and perspectives, and we actively welcome contributions from those who may not typically consider themselves conference speakers.

We are particularly keen to hear from those working in operational roles, early-career professionals, and individuals with lived experience of challenges, innovations, or transformational change in quality and compliance.

This year’s conference will be shaped by a series of dynamic and thought-provoking session topics designed to stimulate conversation, spark curiosity, and share learning across disciplines. Each topic is described in detail below, with guidance to help you think creatively about how your experiences and ideas may contribute.

This year's topics are:

Quality by Design - Explore how intentional planning and system and program design influence quality outcomes.

Proportionality - Share your insights into proportionality, risk-based thinking, and its consequences.

Nothing is Perfect - Reflect on occasions when things didn’t unfold as originally planned—and identify what we can learn from these experiences.

The Imperfect Human - Quality systems don’t work without people. Help us explore the human side.

Regulations - Pragmatism or Perfection? Share your inspection insights, regulatory experiences, and strategies.

Sustainability and Quality - Contribute to the discussion on environmental sustainability and compliance.

Quality Tools that Work - Inspire others with your use of quality-enhancing tools and innovations.

Other - Have an innovative idea that doesn’t fit neatly into the above categories?
