EMA - Horizon scanning on veterinary novel therapies

The European Medicines Agency has launched a horizon scanning survey on veterinary novel therapies.

The Novel Therapies and Technologies Working Party (NTWP) under the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP), has been established and is committed to developing guidance for facilitating the efficient authorisation of innovative Veterinary Medicinal Products (VMPs).

In order to identify emerging needs for targeted regulatory support and guidance there is a need to strengthen horizon scanning activities.

The purpose of this survey is to achieve a better overview of Novel Therapies and innovative VMPs under development in Europe and to identify the main hurdles to their development.

The survey is anonymous and the deadline to respond is 30 June 2024.
